Animal Detectives
Using keen eyes and ears, pupils search the woodland, meadows and ponds for evidence of animals. Armed with magnifying glasses and identification sheets to aid investigation, eager detectives will find a range of tracks and trails. Rabbit hills, molehills, feathers, and nibbled hazelnuts are just some of the evidence that may be detected. There is also the opportunity to encounter a variety of animals first hand!

Searching high and low pupils keep a record of what they have found in each habitat using tally counts, data that is useful for habitat comparisons.
