Field Centre

The field centre building is very well equipped with both outdoor and indoor study equipment, tools and materials. With two classrooms the centre can easily accomodate up to 64 children and also has disabled facilities. Numerous display boards in and around the building are frequently updated with seasonal information and themed environmental issues. As an Eco-centre there are also various recycling points and a wide variety of information regarding sustainable living. |

The Oak Room has been the main indoor classroom for 30 years. With seating for up to around 35 pupils this classroom provides an informative teaching environment allowing pupils access to a natural history library, computer and numerous informational displays. In addition to this the Oak Room houses an observation bee hive and a video camera connected to a bird box housing great tits. |

The Ash Room is Pelham's newest classroom and was opened in 2002 to provide extra teaching space to meet growing demand! Seating 30, this classroom is also adorned with colourful and informative displays and allows access to computers. |
