Grid ref: TL 87367 Approach Daws Hall from the minor road between Bures and Sudbury, on the Essex side of the River Stour and close to the village of Lamarsh. Approaching from Sudbury: Daws Hall is about one mile beyond the Henny Swan pub, up a short hill, past a right hand turn to Twinstead, then immediately on the left behind a high hedge. Although there is a Daws Hall Centre sign, you will probably see a sign advertising 'Books, brought and sold' first (this is at the Daws Hall house). Approaching from Bures: The Centre is 500 metres beyond Lamarsh Parish Church. The Daws Hall house is clearly visible on the right hand side, as the first building after the church and farm. There is parking space for about ten cars and a large area of hard standing 100 metres further down the road, which can accomodate minibuses or a coach. |
