The bees at Daws Hall lead a happy life, with endless
sources of pollen and nectar available to them from the reserve. From
April to September an observation hive is maintained in the Bee Room,
together with a variety of instructive wall charts. Here young and old
alike can learn about these remarkable creatures and can study at close
quarters the intricate life of a hive. On open days, honey and other products
from these bees are usually available for sale. |
